The UOIG recruits twice a year, once in the beginning of fall term and once at the end of winter term. The UOIG does not have a maximum number of members, but the application process is selective. We hold information sessions on the group typically one week before the application deadline. Dates for these sessions will be posted here on our website.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:

– Ability and willingness to learn
– Comfort speaking in public
– Ability to take and respond to criticism
– Comfort working as part of a team
The process for admittance is as follows:
First, candidates must submit an online application (click the link below). This application includes a cover letter and a resume. The application cannot be saved once started and must be submitted by the deadline shown above.
After applications have been submitted, the UOIG Management Group will screen applications and contact those selected to advance to the interview process.
Interviews typically take about 40-45 minutes and attire is business formal. Applicants will be asked to complete a financial acumen survey prior to the interview, so we ask applicants to show up about 15 minutes before their scheduled interview time.
Applicants will be notified via email or phone call of the group’s decision. Additional details will be provided at that time.
