Jake joined the UOIG in the Fall of 2022, and served as President of the group during the 2023-2024 school year. He is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in both Finance and Accounting, as well as minors in Economics and Music. This summer, Jake will be working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at JMP Securities in San Francisco, CA. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, golfing, playing guitar, and backpacking across Oregon.

Miwako joined UOIG as a freshman during winter of 2021. She is pursuing a major in computer science with a minor in physics. After graduation, she hopes to combine her interests in computational thinking and finance at a quantitative hedge fund. To spread her love of math and science, Miwako works as a peer tutor for fellow students, as well as a self-employed tutor for teenagers learning English as a second language. In her free time, Miwako enjoys cooking, working out, and crocheting.

Kayim joined UOIG during the Fall term of his sophomore year in 2022. He is pursuing a major in Accounting. At school, Kayim works as a Career Peer Educator at the career services, finding fulfillment in helping students on their professional development and career journeys. This summer, Kayim will be interning as an Advisory intern at the Deloitte Portland office, where he hopes to start his career after college. In his free time, Kayim enjoys playing intramural soccer.

Rachel joined the UOIG during fall of 2022. She is pursuing a degree in economics and business with a concentration in finance. In the summer after her junior year she plans to get an internship in the economic field and plans to continue pursing economics after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, working out, and exploring new places.

Trevor joined the UOIG in the fall of 2022 and he's majoring in Economics. Before college, he worked as a sales associate for a skate & snow shop where he learned the art of the sale. In his free time he likes to snowboard, golf, go to concerts, and hangout with friends. After graduation, he would love to go into investment banking or financial analysis.

Alex joined the UOIG during fall 2022. He is pursuing a major in business administration with a concentration in finance, and a minor in economics. Summer coming into junior year, Alex interned at Slakey Brothers as a business operations intern striving to increase efficiency, decrease cost, and safety in the warehouse. After graduation, Alex hopes to begin a career in wealth management. Outside the classroom, Alex enjoys running at Hendricks Park, rock climbing, mountain biking, road biking, and taking care of my twelve house plants.

Rex joined the UOIG in the winter of 2023 and is pursuing a majoring in Economics. During the summer of his freshman year, he interned at a small accounting firm under the guidance of Leon Fu, CPA. After graduation, Rex plans to pursue a career as an economic or financial analyst. In his free time, Rex enjoys playing sports, trading stock options, and running his Airbnb business.

Maxwell Joined UOIG during Winter of 2023. He is pursuing a major in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. As a sophomore, Maxwell Interned at RVK Inc. as an investment analyst. After graduation Maxwell hopes to pursue a career in asset management. Outside of academia and work Maxwell loves to watch movies, cook, play basketball, and play poker.

When she is not studying or working Grace enjoys reading, 90s Rom-Coms, watching the Tampa Bay Lightning, and powerlifting.

Nathan joined UOIG during Winter 2023. He is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Finance & Securities Analysis. Nathan is a former Naval Officer (Surface Warfare), is a current small business owner (medical practice) in Eugene, and practices as a licenced Sports Acupuncturist treating sports medicine patients. Upon graduation, Nathan's goal is to work in Investment Banking or Equity Research M&A at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
